Natalie Dillow Coaching

Natalie Dillow Coaching's website emerged as a beacon of hope and support for individuals facing sensitive topics like infertility. The challenge was to create an online platform that would extend Natalie's coaching and support group services to a wider audience, providing a professional, user-friendly, and understanding space. Using a human-centered design approach, I crafted a clean and inviting website, fostering a calming environment that encouraged individuals to connect with the coach and access the support they needed to navigate the challenges of infertility.

Challenge

Before the website's existence, Natalie Dillow had been providing coaching and support in person, recognizing the need to expand her reach and facilitate easier connections with potential clients online. The goal was to create a professional and approachable platform where individuals could explore the services offered and discover relevant support groups. A key challenge was to maintain sensitivity and understanding while addressing sensitive health issues related to infertility. The website needed to be a safe haven, attracting primarily women dealing with these delicate topics.

Approach

The design process commenced with a comprehensive competitor analysis to understand the landscape of coaching websites in the infertility space. Understanding the needs of the target audience, primarily women facing infertility issues, was crucial to crafting an effective design. Soft colors, professional fonts, and a simple layout with ample whitespace were chosen to create a calming and supportive atmosphere for users seeking help. We identified the most critical user needs: easy access to information about services and a convenient contact form to initiate conversations with the coach.

Solution

Starting with low-fidelity prototypes, I experimented with various layouts and user flows to gauge navigation and user interaction. Collaborating closely with Natalie, we established a clear information hierarchy to structure the website's content effectively. Iterating on the design based on feedback from both the coach and potential users, I fine-tuned the layout, user flows, and language to create a soothing and inviting user experience. The final website was crafted using a human-centered design approach, considering the preferences and needs of the target audience throughout the process. The website's calming and supportive aesthetic was aimed at helping users feel comfortable seeking help for their sensitive health concerns.

Results

The delivered website became a responsive and intuitive platform with a clean design and user-friendly navigation. The written content adopted a warm and inviting tone, remaining professional and compassionate about sensitive infertility issues. The human-centered design approach was instrumental in creating a supportive environment for those seeking help with sensitive health matters. The website successfully increased Natalie's online presence and comforted new clients in reaching out for coaching services. Ultimately, the website empowered Natalie Dillow Coaching to expand their reach and provide essential support to individuals facing infertility struggles.
